The Spirit of Debt In Our Churches – Episode 5 – Part 1
Summary: No longer is debt considered a negative thing to have in our society anymore, it is being encouraged. When I was growing up to be in debt was considered bad thing and frowned upon. Today people wear it as a badge of self-worth, they brag about their line of credit or pull out their many credit as a sign of net worth. Unfortunately, debt has become acceptable even in our churches. If some came to your church and sat next to you and your family and pulled out a flask containing alcohol and began to drink it, you would want them removed. If someone in your church was siting next to you and physically abused their wife or child, you would be appalled and probably take action to stop it. But if some was telling you about a sale they attended and they had to find a credit card that wasn’t maxed out, you probably would laugh and joke about it. Not realizing that debt causes alcohol and physical abuse. That’s why the Bible says, “my people perish because of the lack of knowledge.” How can we get this knowledge?

What is Tithing and What is The Purpose
– Episode 5 – Part 2
Summary: Tithing is God’s financial plan for you. It is the economy of heaven operating in the earth. I am not saying that money comes from heaven. What I am saying, this is the system that God uses to provide for his children. The tithe means: a tenth. When you tithe it means bring or percent ten percent of your income to the Lord. (notice I did not say give it God or give it to the preacher). It is not based on our economic system it has supernatural power the supersedes our economic systems. The Bible says “the tithe is holy it belongs to the Lord (Leviticus 27:30). If you have ever gone to a good Financial Planner, the first thing they will tell you is “to pay yourself first.” Then they will tell you that you should pay yourself ten percent (remember the tithe is a tenth or ten percent).” I wonder where they got that from? Do you want to learn more about how tithing can eliminate debt and bring God’s supernatural protection over your finances? Allowing you to obtain financial freedom.

The Double Minded Man – Episode 6 – Part 1
Summary: The Bible says, “a double minded man can receive nothing from God (James 1:6-8).” Many times, when it comes to the church there are so many negative connotations when comes to money. Even the songs we sing sometimes suggest that money is not wanted. It is something we need but don’t necessarily want. Take for example, a very well-known song that says, “silver and gold, silver and gold, I would rather have Jesus than silver and gold.” Who said it had to be an either-or proposition? Then shortly after that song has been sung, the Pastor, Elder or Deacon says, “what a great song, now let’s take up the offering.” Maybe now you see how confusing this could be.
Another well-known misconception is, “all the preacher want is your money.” I am not naÏve; I know that every Pastor doesn’t handle God’s money correctly. However, there are far more Pastors who do it the right way. Their only desire is to see the blessings of God operating in your life.

The Double Minded Man – Episode 6 – Part 2
Summary: In most churches if you asked the question: “How many people want to be like Jesus?” Most of the congregation would raise their hands. However, if you asked the question what was the opinion of Jesus concerning money? Was he poor or was he rich? Was he for having wealth or was he against it? How can you be like Jesus without answering this important question? Most of what we know about Jesus portrays a picture of poverty. He was born in the stable in a manager. His parents could find no room in the inn. Mary his mother, rode on a donkey. His father Joseph was a carpenter (today we would call him a handyman). When in that time period, the carpenter not only built the structure, but he also designed it. Today we would call him an Architect. How many poor Architects do you know? Does this change the picture for you?

Summary: How the covenant God made with Abraham is still in affect today. When you give your life to Christ you become and heir. Frank shares what that means for you. He also shares how he first discovered tithing and how it helped him and his wife payoff approximately $23,000.00 in consumer debt and eliminated $800.00 a month of debt.
